Missy Stagers is the owner of M. Stagers Realty Partners. Prior to real estate, Missy served four years in the Navy within the Intelligence community. Two years as a Marketing Associate with McMillan Realty in San Diego, California. She learned the latest techniques in real estate marketing from a progressive company. After arriving in San Antonio, she worked for the national real estate auction firm, Sheldon Good and Company, where she coordinated marketing and administrative services in over $33 million in sales during a single auction. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Missy transitioned to civilian life by starting a career in real estate in 1993. Missy has been consistently in the top 10 of San Antonio’s real estate teams and number 1 agent for Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, Realtors her 17 years there. Missy’s team achieved #10 ranking for the Southern region of Coldwell Banker as well out of over 23,000 agents. She obtained her Broker license in 2010. In January 2017, Missy opened her own Brokerage company, M. Stagers Realty Partners.
Missy dedicates time to ongoing mission trips. She has helped children in Honduras and Moldova. She supports various other ministries with her church and nonprofits, Impact San Antonio, San Antonio Humane Society, Susan B. Komen, CERI, Organ Donation, Child Fund and many other organizations she finds are important.
After living in Virginia, Scotland, Florida, California and Illinois, Missy chose San Antonio to be her permanent home after falling in love with the big city that has small town hospitality. Missy lives with her husband and has a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren, 3 standard poodles and 3 chickens. Her free time is often spent in her yard, making things from scratch and exercising. When able she enjoys spending time at her lake house with family and friends. To unwind and keep things in perspective, Missy loves to work in her garden, read, fish and cook.
Personal Achievements
Missy served the local San Antonio Board of Realtors and was the 2014 Chairman, plus she served and chaired on various committees at Texas Association of Realtors. She is the 2015 recipient of the prestigious Omega Tau Rho Medallion of Service for her dedication to the Industry of Real Estate. She was President of the local Women’s Council of Realtors in 2009 and grew it to its largest membership as well as financial status. Missy has been member of the Northwest Business Council for San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Coastal Conservation Association.
Giving back to others, Missy involves herself in mission work and has traveled to the poorest parts of South America and Europe. She has vaccinated animals, taught public wellness to children and worked with orphanages to find foster parent sponsors as well as teach bible studies.
