Professional Approach

I spent many years working with traders and analysts on Wall Street. In this fast-paced, frenzied environment, the focus was always on numbers. My background on Wall Street honed my skills in analyzing data, but it’s been the personal interactions with clients that’s truly transformed my perspective. It wasn’t until I became a Financial Advisor that I saw the enormous impact these trades had on individual investors’ lives and found my passion lies in helping people prepare for a secure future.

Recently, while updating a financial plan with a couple, they shared a delightful surprise. They had created the hashtag, #CRTN, for me. They are approaching retirement and exploring various opportunities for this new chapter of their lives. Whenever an idea piques their interest, they say #CRTN (pronounced “curtain”) which stands for Chris Run The Numbers. This is their signal to each other to have me run the numbers to see if it’s financially feasible. It’s rewarding to see the planning help them shape their lives.

My husband and I are proud parents of two daughters – one in high school and another attending the University of Washington. Yet, our dog Axel holds the record for the most photos on my camera.

I am passionate about my work as a volunteer with the CENTS Cancer Program. I assist patients in navigating the financial burdens from cancer treatment and aid families of terminally ill patients in estate planning. My journey as a cancer survivor has given me a first-hand view of the high, prolonged costs of treatment. This endeavor holds special significance for me, given my own experiences.

I also enjoy volunteering with the Junior League of Seattle and supporting the Alpha Chi Omega Seattle Alumnae chapter. During the summer, I can often be found at the View Ridge Swim and Tennis Club, enjoying the pool, and catching up with neighbors and friends.
